Web Traffic News has one address for everything: editor@webtrafficnews.com. These are the messages it is for and what helps us act on each one.
Corrections
If a piece gets a fact wrong, send the link to the piece, the sentence that is wrong and a source that shows the correct fact. A confirmed error is corrected within 48 hours of the report, the piece shows an "Updated" date, and the correction is listed on the corrections page.
Tips
If ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, AI Overviews, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude or Copilot changed something we have not covered, send the link to the announcement, help-centre page or filing. We write from the primary source, so the link helps more than a summary.
Release notes
Companies that build or measure AI search can send release notes and announcements to the same address, with a link to the public page. A release note is read as a source like any other, and coverage is never paid for.
Data requests
For a question about a number in a data piece, such as the sample, the period or how a figure was counted, name the piece and the number. Each data piece states its sample size and the period it covers, and how we report explains where the numbers come from.
